Absolutely! The River Trail is a great place to walk your dog. Just remember to clean up after them and keep them on a leash.
Are bicycles allowed on the trail?
Yes, bicycles are allowed on all parts of the River Trail. Please be courteous to pedestrians and other bikers.
Are there mile markers on the River Trail?
Yes, but they are not in very good shape and not comprehensive. Please use the mile markers on the map to determine distances.
Is the River Trail safe?
The safety record of the River Trail is very good. Common sense precautions should prevail though.

There will be soon. The Lansing City Market will be opening a restaurant with beer and wine as well as patio seating when the weather is cooperative.
